Mother Knows Best
Somebody once said that no one in the world can take the place of our mothers. True enough, our moms are really extraordinary. No one else but they are given the rare opportunity to bring us into the world, to nurture us, to provide for us, to teach us, to discipline us and basically to raise us up. That’s why it’s only fitting that we devote a special day for them every year.
Mother’s Day in the Philippines this year falls on May 11. It’s a good thing MC asked when Mother’s Day is celebrated in our country because apparently, different countries give tribute to mothers on various days of the year. Just remember that for us, it’s always the second Sunday of May. But I believe what people are mostly asking in Answers about Mother’s Day would be gift ideas for moms. It can be overwhelming to think of what to give to the most important woman in our lives, I know because I have that same dilemma. Momx3 asked that question and was able to get a lot of good ideas from the community, particularly from TxsWitchWAB.
Personally, I think the best gift we can give our moms this Mother’s Day is our time. It’s really not how expensive the gift is, it’s about spending quality time with my mom and letting her know how much I love her and how thankful and blessed I am for all she has done for me. Abuelamah thinks the same and asked everyone how we want to spend Mother’s Day and a lot shared how they and their families plan to spend this special day with their moms.
Reading all these questions and answers about Mother’s Day all the more inspires me and reminds me of how much my mom means to me and how important it is to celebrate her day this May 11. So to all the mothers out there, Happy Mother’s Day!

Our moms really are the most important women in our lives! No one will selflessly devote herself to our well being.
Our mums were the best creatures God have given 2 us, and without them our family will never be complete!!! Let’s show to our mother how we really love them..life is so short but it has lot of things to offer, enjoy, and never hesitate to say ï love u, mum”! happy mother’s day!!!
Our mother is the best creature made by God without them we would not be here in this world. They endure the pain in carrying us for 9 months in their stomach which is quite difficult and painful, especially their backs.Not only that, it is not easy laboring for hours or even days stuck in the hospital or clinics. But with all the hardships they gone through, our moms gave us the chance to explore and experience life here on earth. That is why I am really thankful from the bottom of my heart for my mom for taking care of me from conception to growing up years. She is always there to support and guide me in everything I do.She is my superwoman ,the woman of power and grace.This Mother’s day I am planning to buy her a bouquet of flower and cake. Or otherwise I will treat her to the beauty parlor, have her nails polish and if my budget permits treat her for a whole body massage. I know for sure she will be happy. Happy mothers day to all the mom’s out there.

In view of Mother’s day,I think most important of all, is that we honor our mothers not just on this special day, but day in and day out. After all, God who created mothers said, “Honor your (father and) mother – which is the first commandment with a promise – that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on earth.” God bless all the moms out there.
